American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards 2012 on the Hallmark channel
Surf dog Ricochet struts her Sirene Ceruleen Peacock feathered gown' on the Red Carpet at the American Humane Association's 2012 Hero Dog Awards. A star studded evening held Saturday October 6, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. Ricochet won the Award in 2011 and was invited back as honorary guest. Her gown was donated with the goal to raise money for charity to help both humans and animals in need. I was honored to design and make this custom made gown for an amazing dog who has already raised close to $300,000.00 for charity!
Ricochet, the SURFice dog, hosted yet another fundraiser proceeding the awards night in honor of another 2011 hero dog Stacey Mae. Proceeds from the fundraiser went to Betty White's humane heroes club which benefits the American Humane Association, raising over $7500.00
Betty White will match donations made up to $25,000!! Everyone who donates will be entered into a random drawing, to win one win, the Sirene Ceruleen Peacock feathered red carpet gown designed & donated by RL Couture by Lucy Medeiros. Giving back heals the soul!! ♥♥

Pet Talk Holiday show & Easter Extravaganza 2011 on NEWS 12 CT
After having met Lauren Collier host of "Pet Talk" at the Westminster Pet Fashion Show in NYC in 2011, I was invited to guest star on her Pet Talk show "Easter Extravaganza" to showcase my Spring 2011 collection. We had such a great time. With the episode being a wonderful success, we were asked to return for Pet Talk's Christmas show once again, where the RL Couture Holiday 2011 collection was the highlight of the day.

We were so thrilled to find out that Roxy, Kiko (RIP) and I had been featured in Paul Nathan's latest coffee table Photography book. The photo was taken in NYC while at the Westminster Pet Fashion Show in 2011. The dress code for the evening was a Venetien costume ball theme where both the dogs and their people were in full costume, including masks!
